One Year Complete
One year. Twelve months of design, production, setbacks, pivots, and finally, system-level traction. Today, KCM completes its first public cycle and steps forward, leaner and more resolute. This is the story so far, and the direction ahead. If you want to details on what happened last year, make sure to read the Executive Summary 2024
🚀 The Past:
Validation
We entered 2024 ready to prove a thesis: that art, technology, and business could be meaningfully combined to deliver breakthrough energy and security infrastructure on a global scale.
Investments Secured: With several Angels and Trust Fund Managers, we have accumulated Assets to stake our ambitious plan on. Altough the road to our IPO stretch goal will require billions, we are a couple of millions less behind than before. Cashflow is a mess, but the foundation is solid and tangible at last.
Faraday Battery Project Partnership: Our affiliation with the £610M Faraday Battery Project put KCM at the heart of Europe’s clean-tech transformation.
A-Series Positioning: With initial discussion already concluded in August 2024, we are set to benefit from this year's batch of a renowned investor's collective. More information on our application and the scope of public affiliation will be available soon after our LLC launch in Q3.
Overcoming Delays: While the PSCB prototype faced fewer technical than operational slowdowns, we transformed setbacks into insights, fueling a better architecture and a stronger team. Separating Wheat from the chaff, our CTA even solved the MK-I primary concern: The energy capture Setup. Where the Demonstrator can only hold a charge, our MK-I can charge anything, which was once deemed “impossible”, now proven.
Holding the Line: Defending KCM’s reputation and IP in the face of legal headwinds, we demonstrated that our values remain intact under pressure, regardless of the opposition to a sustainable future.
A New Legacy: KCM reaffirmed its DNA—integrating art, technology, and business, we are becoming more than a company:
A proof of concept for resilience and creative execution.
🏗️Building 2025:
Foundations and Iteration
Final Mk-0 Stabilization: Casing validated, branding laser-engraving scheduled; first 120 PSCB Demonstrators successfully sold internally and in production.
Testing Archive Drop: Full log transparency, with redacted but robust technical documentation available to partners. Condensed Heilmeier Catechism Illustration practiced and incorporated.
Core Team Expansion: CTO integration, Chief Technical Advisor T. Kumutat onboarded for that cutting-edge genius, and Bundeswehr veteran Joshua Schmitt joined to facilitate defense decoupling.
Recruitment Drive: Sought out embedded and aerospace integration talent, continuously building for the next iteration.
Loud Posture & Quiet Execution:
Public Sale Launched: Symbolic as much as strategic—every order tested both the market and our operations capabilities.
Operations on Track: Production, QA, and packaging ran slightly over budget but remained on schedule.
Dual Leadership: While legal alignment occurred in Switzerland, engineering maintained its presence at home, and we represented KCM at ICMAPE 2025.
DARPAconnect Collaboration Began: KCM’s dual-use promise, validated on the world stage, now focusing on supporting NATO with applications in the DIANA Palladion Defense Accelerator.
Disciplined Growth
SIC Realignment: Formal code transitions, prepping for new reporting requirements on Companies House. KCM remains fully compliant and up-to-date with regulatory demands and frameworks.
Meta Verified Discontinued: Exited B2C art branding, cemented the move to pure industrial and decision-maker channels.
Accounts Finalization: The fiscal year rollover is complete, with a new asset injection ongoing, projected to reach a min. Valuation of £4M for Series A.
PitchBook Engagement: Began formal partnership for streamlined investor transparency, with launch set for Q3.
DACH Marketing Launch: 12-month PR deal with 50+ publications and 4 TV/feature slots for 2025, prepared and to be signed in June.
Equity Announced: Private paper bonds to optimize working capital, liquidity, and growth without burning core equity.
End of Bureaucracy:
Confirmation Statement Filed: SIC, structure, and legal changes now reflected in Companies House.
All Account Management on Track: Asset, capital, and liquidity structure locked in for a year of scale.
🛡️Decoupled:
KCM Defense
New Domain & Public Pages: KCM Defense now prepares its domain, communications, and data room, with the release of the new website planned for July 2025. Our Defense Page here will shut down on July 1st.
Delaware LLC Incorporation: Scheduled for Q3, aligning with DoD, DARPAconnect, and compliance protocols. Hiring for essential staff will be handled by our current primary KCM HQ and industry experts.
Full U.S./U.K. Dual-Anchor: Engineering sovereignty from London, alliance-grade interoperability from the U.S.
EMP Munitions Pipeline: From non-lethal disruption to ballistic armor-ignoring rounds, KCM Defense is ready to demonstrate the hardware at the heart of tomorrow’s security infrastructure.
DARPA & DoD Alignment: The entire decoupling honors the commitment to maintain the highest standards of U.S. and allied compliance, transparency, and operational readiness.
Also, we can focus on R&D work close to our heart, like the inclusion of our MK-XL into the US NAVY Manta Submarine for power autonomy.New Horizons: Something possible we discovered while analyzing the dual-use capabilities of our crystal design:
The Piezoelectric Laser-Induced Plasma Engine (PLIPE), more on that in our following Quarterly review.
🌍 The Path:
New Cycle
