Last week, we welcomed a new addition to the advisory board, with more to come. Alongside this, work continues on the current grant submissions, with further refinements underway on the proposal. Additionally, growing interest from academic institutions suggests promising directions for collaboration both locally and internationally.

Product Track

The Product team has been working to pin down the first steps of the theoretical framework and define methods for growth. The literature review phase draws closer to completion as the focus shifts towards analysing crystal structures within the production process and assessing material costs.

Every member reported consistent progress this week with no blockers raised, a clear sign that the team’s rhythm and routines are taking root, with additional positions to open soon.

Our new 2025 visual storytelling video is underway to help external audiences understand KCM’s work in a clearer and more accessible way. The creative foundation is being laid, ensuring that our communications evolve in step with our product and research.

Operations

Meanwhile, the office search has entered a decisive stage with a potential location now under review and contracts being prepared. It’s a tangible reminder that our work is moving from digital to physical, from coordination to creation, from structure to space.
